Background
The Flower Fields in Carlsbad, California, trace their roots back to the early 1920s when Luther Gage planted the first ranunculus seeds in the region. This vibrant display of blooms began to captivate the public, and by the 1950s, horticulturist Edwin Frazee expanded the fields and introduced new varieties, transforming the area into a local attraction.
Strategy
The goal of this rebrand was to refresh The Flower Fields identity while staying true to the core of the company. I wanted to focus on showcasing the opportunity that The Flower Fields present to learn about and appreciate nature as well as connect with those you visit with.

Illustrations
For the illustrations in this project, I took one shape that could make a circle when combined and could also be used as a leaf and petal. This shape could be combined together to create an array of different florals to be used in illustrations and icons throughout the brand system.
